If you do not agree, please do not use the app. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE Crystal Identifier: Crystalens is a mobile application that uses AI to identify crystals, rocks, minerals, and gemstones from user-submitted photos. The app provides identification results, estimated appraisal and value information, mineral composition and rarity details, an AI chat feature for follow-up questions, multi-language support, and a personal collection history of past results. USE OF SERVICE License We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Crystal Identifier: Crystalens for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. Acceptable Use You agree not to: - Use the app for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law - Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app - Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others - Upload or submit harmful, offensive, or illegal content - Interfere with or disrupt the app's operation or servers - Use the app for unauthorized commercial purposes, including reselling identification or appraisal results as your own service AI-GENERATED INFORMATION Estimates and Analysis All identification results, mineral composition data, rarity assessments, and appraisal or value estimates provided by Crystal Identifier: Crystalens are generated using AI and are for informational and educational purposes only. Not Professional Advice Crystal Identifier: Crystalens does not provide professional gemological, geological, or appraisal services. Results should not be relied upon for insurance valuations, financial decisions, buying or selling transactions, authentication for resale, or any legally binding purpose. Accuracy Disclaimer We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any identification, appraisal, or value estimate provided by the app. Results may vary and should be treated as a general reference only. Consult Professionals For official valuations, authentication, or appraisals, consult a licensed gemologist, geologist, or professional appraiser. USER CONTENT Your Photos/Data You retain all rights to the photos and content you submit. By using the app, you grant us a temporary, limited permission to process your photos solely to generate identification and appraisal results. Storage Your photos, identification history, and chat conversations are stored on your device and, if enabled, in your personal iCloud account. Face Data (Clarification) Crystal Identifier: Crystalens does not intentionally collect, process, or store any facial recognition or biometric data. The service is designed solely for identifying and appraising crystals, rocks, minerals, and gemstones from user-submitted images. Users may submit images that incidentally contain human faces. In such cases, images are processed only for the purpose of identifying and appraising crystals, rocks, minerals, and gemstones. No facial recognition or biometric analysis is performed, and no face data is extracted or used. Images may be transmitted to third-party AI services for processing. This processing is temporary and solely for generating identification and appraisal results. Crystal Identifier: Crystalens does not retain or store face data. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY App Ownership Crystal Identifier: Crystalens, including its design, features, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Trademarks The Crystal Identifier: Crystalens name and logo are trademarks and may not be used without our prior written permission. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES Crystal Identifier: Crystalens uses third-party AI services to process images and generate results. Use of these features is also subject to the applicable third-party service providers' terms. PAYMENTS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS In-App Purchases Any subscriptions or purchases within the app are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Refunds Refund requests are handled according to Apple's refund policies, not directly by us. Price Changes We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing at any time, with notice as required by applicable law. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY No Warranties The app is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Limitation of Damages To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Maximum Liability Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months prior to the claim.
